IHG was launching a new line of hotels called Even – dedicated to the overall holistic well-being of the frequent traveler. We wanted to encourage and support all aspects of what it meant to be "well," mentally and physically. What this really meant was that it enabled them to continue their wellness routines even while on the road, as this was often a challenge. Mobile was a natural ally to the business traveler, so it was the main platform for extending the location-based hotel experience to a behavior-driven service offering.
he app would learn your current behavior, along with upcoming travel plans. It would then help effortlessly guide you towards staying on track during travel by communicating with you during your stay, and serving you suggestions based not just on your needs, but also based on mood. All by using a wheel based navigation that grants access to both. It would encourage good behavior by inviting the guest to join in hotel activities, and ultimately, delight with some fun, contextual ways to deliver content – including a "time togo home before you get too drunk because you have an early meeting" alert.
